January 2019

Prof Philip Chiu and Prof Tony Mok, two seasoned CUHK conference organizers with amazing track records in the number of international participants at their events, shared tips on how to attract and retain delegates year after year.

ABC on Social Media to Improve Our International Visibility

Prof Jeremy Teoh and Prof Herbert Loong, experienced users of social media, were invited to share their expertise, experience and tips on the use of social media in academia: to expand connection and explore new opportunities.

User Experience Enhancement in Modern Web Design

To facilitate our colleagues in getting the most out of their websites, we invited Mr. Ken Yiu of SCAD HK and PolyU to share tips on how to create effective website designs based on user experience. Examples, concepts and basic techniques were shared.

Hosting International Medical Conferences

April 2017

 

Our expert academics shared their success stories and tips on bidding for and holding large-scale conferences in Hong Kong. Co-organized with Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, this workshop also introduced us to the support and services they offer to facilitate the hosting of such events.

Leading an International Alliance

To kick off the series, we had the honour of having Prof Joseph Sung as our inaugural speaker to share his tips to success – How from being a young gastroenterologist, he went on to pioneer a treatment that changed worldwide practice, to lead a group of experts that laid down screening guidelines in the Asia-Pacific region, and to be recognized locally, regionally and globally.
