Cell Cycle-Related Kinase in Cancer Immunotherapy

20 Dec 2018

The review “CCRK is a novel signalling hub exploitable in cancer immunotherapy” summarizes the tumor-intrinsic and -extrinsic functions of the cell cycle-related kinase, and illustrates its potential as a therapeutic target in cancers. Future research on the delineation of CCRK-mediated oncogenic mechanisms may help develop superior and more personalized treatment options for cancer patients (Pharmacol Ther. 2018 Jun;186:138-151. doi: 10.1016/j.pharmthera.2018.01.008. Epub 2018 Mar 1).

Anyone interested in future collaboration in this field of research is welcome to contact our key investigator Prof Alfred Cheng from our School of Biomedical Sciences. Prof Cheng’s research interest focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying male predominance of liver cancer and his findings have been published in major peer-reviewed journals.
